Biography

I am Sada Khanal, a filmmaker based in Kathmandu, Nepal.

I work as producer, director on films, documentaries, television programs and passion projects.

Currently, I am working as a director and writer on my first feature film ‘Birds Returning to the Nest‘

I believe in taking a mindful approach to filmmaking, working in small crews to create an agile and unobtrusive environment. This helps contributors feel at ease, getting the best out of them.

I love crafting films that look and feel cinematic and are very much rooted in human emotions and feelings.
